Our Community Groups and Partners

Across our ecosystem of faith expressions, charity partners and community groups, it is estimated that around 1,000 people come through our doors each week.

We hope you will also find something which has value and meaning for yourself. We welcome suggestions of how we can develop and improve what we offer.

St. Andrew’s is the home of Home Community Cafe and we are proud to be able to host and collaborate with them. Home Community Cafe is an independent social enterprise that uses its profit to benefit the neighbourhood of Earlsfield. It is an important part of our community and is often a first point of contact for many to St. Andrew's. The Cafe is open weekdays, closing on Thursdays to support the Earlsfield Foodbank. Alongside the day to day cafe offering, it partners with various voluntary sector organisations to run a program of events, including social prescription projects, drop in sessions and lunch clubs. The Cafe has recently received Sanctuary Status for its work supporting refugees. It is an inclusive, warm and welcoming space, and its values reflect those of ours at St. Andrew’s. Visit the Home Community Cafe website for more information.

The Earlsfield Foodbank is hosted weekly at St. Andrew's and is a lifeline to many in our community. The sessions run on Thursday mornings and are currently serving upwards of 110 households. Whilst guests wait for their bags, they are offered drinks and pastries served by the Home Cafe. There is also financial and other support offered by Citizens Advice, Family Action, as well as access to (if needed) drug and alcohol use support. The morning is supported by a rota of 40+ volunteers and the local WI who wait tables and serve the breakfasts. If you would like to donate to the Foodbank you can drop food off at the Home Cafe weekdays or on a Sunday morning after worship. For more details see the Earlsfield Foodbank website.

The Community Meal is held on the 3rd Wednesday of every month from 6-8pm, hosted by the Home Cafe and run by volunteers. It is a wonderful, welcoming space open to everybody in our local community of any age and background, any faith or none. We share a meal in a relaxed setting getting to know one another and enjoying the home cooked food and the plethora of desserts that we bring and share.
